Why Do Outdoor Advertising? by Sign Zoo
Outdoor advertising actually encompasses a number of different marketing approaches and can vary a great deal, which is beneficial for companies since they can then go with whatever approach or method would be more effective for them, individually. Not all companies are able to get the maximum exposure that they need when it comes to different types of outdoor advertising. As a result, it can sometimes be difficult for these companies to come to a conclusion as to why they should invest in outdoor advertising and make that type of trial and error maneuver. The fact is, outdoor advertising in virtually any capacity is influential on many people because of the way in which individuals are exposed to the marketing campaign. There are so many different types of outdoor advertising that can be used and many companies will have no problem finding which method works best for them.
Exposure is the number one reason as to why people should consider outdoor advertising for their professional or personal needs. We see all the time cars in traffic that are for sale by the owner, complete with a sign saying the vehicle is for sale and the contact information for interested parties. As cars interact with each other, we see the powerful effects of outdoor advertising. So many more people are exposed to outdoor advertising as opposed to other methods, such as advertising in a newspaper ? which is an approach only beneficial to those that read the newspaper. Compared to those that regularly read the newspaper, including the ads, more people are exposed to outdoor advertising.
Another reason that individuals would benefit from considering outdoor advertising is because of the fact that these are the approaches in which the individual will be able to have more diversity when it comes to the different specific methods of marketing. Car advertising or mobile marketing, billboard, bumper stickers and signs are all different forms of outdoor advertising that people are exposed to over time. Outdoor advertising is literally everywhere we look outside in the world today and because of the different methods it is easier for companies or individuals to find the approach that works most successfully, as a result of the individual needs, desires and marketing investment cap which have been put into place. Thanks to outdoor advertising, companies, products, services and ideas can all be revealed to individuals that may have otherwise not been able to learn about the different centerpieces of the products of outdoor advertising attempts.

Why Create Auto Advertising? by Kevin Treman
Auto advertising and mobile marketing campaigns in general are very beneficial to the companies that choose to employ these opportunities. When the idea first came about in the corporate sphere of things, it was a new and innovative concept. Many people were surprised that auto advertising could be such an effective and efficient means to spread information. Still, it is not corporate establishments that created the concept of auto advertising, despite the fact that they seem to get more credit as compared to the ordinary and every day individual. The truth is, auto advertising is not a new concept. It has been used in order to generate specific and desired results for a very long time. Using auto advertising on a more grand scale may be a new approach, but the creation of auto advertising has been evolving over time and in effect for quite some time now. Some people do not just realize the many ways in which auto advertising has already proved its worth and powerful presence when it comes to capitalism and public appeal.
Reasons that we are prepared for auto advertising to succeed include because it has already done so and because the method is able to influence more people that could have otherwise missed being exposed to the advertisement. How many people have seen signs on vehicles saying that they were for sale? Likely, many of us have been able to see this in progress. The individual is trying to use auto advertising in a very literal manner. Attempts to sell vehicles in this way are successful because of the amount of people that are exposed to the auto advertising method and because of the ability of the individual to see exactly and specifically what they are getting involved with as a result.
Since auto advertising was so successful, and it continues to be, in the private sphere, many people can easily make the connection as to how and why auto advertising is a good idea for many companies. Getting exposed to other motorists and passing cars is a great way for companies to stand out and be noticed. The degree to which a car is redesigned in order to come across with the proper auto advertising appeal that is desired by the company will vary, but no matter what it is very difficult, if not impossible, for one car to ignore another car. This could lead to an accident. As individuals driving need to be constantly aware of the other cars around them, auto advertising is clearly a great choice for a marketing campaign.

Timeless Marketing Truth: How Do You Know Your Advertising Copywriting Is Good? by Robert Greenshields
There’s only one way to know if your advertising copy is any good. It’s the same way that your customer knows it?it sells!
We are not all born copywriters, but we are all born customers. As a natural born customer, you can recognize good copy?
Step outside yourself and read the copy fresh: does it reach out and connect with you, does it hold your interest, does it promise something real that you really want, does it convince you?
?It has been said that advertising space without good copy is like the wooden Indian in
front of a cigar store: It locates the store but it doesn’t say anything.? Thus began an article about advertising copy written in the year the Titanic went down. What else did this sage of sales have to say in 1912?
?Good advertising copy does three things:
First: Attracts attention.
Second: Interests the reader.
Third: Convinces the reader.
?The first mission of an advertisement? is to attract attention. The attention of the reader may be secured by pictures, trade marks, striking headlines? Copy must be terse, clear cut, and to the point. It must consist of short, crisp sentences. Long words should be avoided where possible. This is a busy world. Few people have time for long-winded descriptions and explanations.? (Churchill, for one, agrees: “Short words are best, and the old words when short are best of all.”)
Then and now, you know if the copy pulls you in. Even if it?s your product?even if it?s your copy?you know. Now for gaining and keeping interest?
?To make your advertising interesting, you must not only set forth the merits and quality of the article advertised, but you must make clear how it will benefit the purchaser. For example, if you are advertising a moving picture machine for use in the home? Point out the great benefit to be derived from the ownership of such a machine.
?Tell how it will entertain the whole family and their friends both young and old. How it will help to keep the boys at home in the evenings? In selling an automobile the important thing to advertise is? the pleasure that the car affords; the joy and healthfulness of riding through the country? how it makes it convenient to call on distant friends, etc. etc.
?To tell what the article advertised will do for the purchaser in the way of entertainment, education, comfort, convenience, etc., is really of more importance than the thing itself.?
These words may have been written over 100 years ago but it’s hard to express it any better today, which is why you?re reading them here.
Next, the bottom line?convincing the reader. That bottom line is right where it has been all along, because it is not drawn in the sand of fashion; it has nothing (and everything) to do with hemlines and bumpers. The bottom line is drawn in the unchanging human heart.
?A salesman must first sell to himself before he can sell it to others? The advertisement that brings the best results is the one that is written by the man who honestly believes in the goods that he is selling.?
Does that conviction come through? You?ll know when it does, because it?s more contagious than influenza. Ted Nicholas, “The Guru of Direct Mail Marketing,” is as savvy today as the wise man of 1912. “Certain words produce amazing results, as if by magic. All you desire in life, including everlasting wealth, can be yours depending on the words with which you express yourself. As with all the great truths, once known, they seem so simple.”
There?s an old saying, ?Be your own best customer.? That?s all the more true when it comes to judging your advertising.

The Secret Behind Good Advertising: Have Fun! by Laurie J. Raphael
Internet marketing for your online business can be a challenge, but internet marketing is extremely important to its success. When you make plans for internet marketing, your internet marketing strategy should be targeted at those who will need or want your internet marketing most. Make sure you find an internet marketing audience who is interested in what your internet marketing says. If you are selling hats that teenage girls would typically like, your internet marketing should take place in online spaces where teen girls are likely to be. Not only should your internet marketing be in the proper place, but your internet marketing should also be aimed at your specific internet marketing audience. For example, if you are using internet marketing to sell men?s footwear, you will want internet marketing that appeals specifically to men.
Another internet marketing tip is to allow potential customers to develop interest in your internet marketing by employing fun and creative internet marketing techniques. If your internet marketing audience seems to respond well to fun, then your internet marketing technique needs to reflect that as much as possible. The best part of owning an online business and being in charge of your own internet marketing is that you are able to have fun with your internet marketing and business. When you have fun with your internet marketing, the people who respond to your internet marketing will probably be having fun as well. Jokes, off-the-wall humor, funny cartoons, silly puns, etc. can all have a valuable place in your internet marketing.
Additionally, remember that it?s not so much about cost when it comes to internet marketing. The real trick about internet marketing is knowing your audience and being as creative as possible in your internet marketing presentation. Additionally, before you begin your internet marketing campaign, be sure that your website is up and running in good shape. You do not want to begin internet marketing only to disappoint those who respond to your internet marketing.

Is Your Advertising Legal? by Laurie J. Raphael
Internet marketing is crucial to any internet business. There are many different internet marketing strategies, but it is important to pick the internet marketing idea that best fits your business. Internet marketing can end up being the difference between success or failure for your internet business. With the fierce competition between internet businesses, internet marketing is arguably one of the most important facets of your company.
When you are trying to find internet marketing strategies and internet marketing ideas, it is extremely important to remember that your internet marketing needs to be legal. For instance, one fantastic internet marketing idea is internet marketing through the use of email addresses. You can find email addresses all over the internet, and then through internet marketing, advertise your product by mass email. The only problem with this internet marketing technique is that this specific type of internet marketing is called spam. Most people are very familiar with this type of spam internet marketing because this internet marketing takes up half the room in their email inboxes. This type of internet marketing is also illegal, and illegal internet marketing could get your business into trouble. In light of this internet marketing problem, it is important that all of your internet marketing be legal. You can research which internet marketing techniques are allowed and which internet marketing techniques are not. Being armed with a lot of internet marketing information will help your internet marketing to be a success and not an internet marketing nightmare!
After you have found safe and legal internet marketing ideas, always remember that internet marketing is crucial to the success of your business, and employ your internet marketing skills as often as possible. The advantage of an internet business is that you can do your internet marketing yourself without hiring an internet marketing expert if you wish. Knowledge in internet marketing is the best way to ensure that your internet marketing is successful as well as legal internet marketing.

How To Find Free Advertising Vehicles That Work by Peter Grundner
I get this question a lot. ?Can you tell me great sites to advertise on for free (or very little) money?? In the early days of my home business career I followed other people?s advice and advertised on the free and low cost ad sites they recommended.
Frankly, most sources, especially from popular teachers that have training sites, are useless. These free advertising sites may have been great sources when the teachers found them, but after thousands of their pupils started advertising on them as well, (often promoting the same opportunity) they?re pretty much useless.
The free advertising sites on how2succeedonline.net are much fresher since I am constantly searching for new ones that have enough traffic to deliver good results like CraigsList, Ablewise, Myspace, You Tube, Adpost, Squidoo, Backpage, Ideamarketers and more.
Today however, I will teach you a technique that I use to find free advertising sites that haven?t been so beat up with overuse. In essence, I?m going to show you how to fish for free advertising vehicles that will give you a constant stream of fresh, new advertising venues with less competition.
This is so simple it will blow your mind?which is, of course, true of many of the most successful techniques. By the way, I found many of my favorite ad sites this way!
Let?s start by typing in ?Business Opportunity? into Google Search or any search engine you prefer. You can use the keywords that you currently use to promote your business (i.e. ?make money online?, ?Home Based Business?, etc.). You can even do a search for the keyword of the opportunity you represent like ?EDC Gold? ?PWF? or ?1Step System?, etc.
Then I look for optimized search results that appear on the left side of the page (not the pay per click part of the page). As I go down the page, I look for ads that are part of forums or ad sites. You?ll find several ads on the top three pages that are ad-posting on third party sites offering advertising vs. company owned or opportunity sites that just talk about their product, service or opportunity. Many of these sites offer free or low cost advertising. And best of all, Google has found these sites and elevated their index (so they appear on pages 1-3 of the search results), even in highly competitive areas where popular keywords are used.
You?ll find more quality sites than you know what to do with, just with the use of a few keywords.
Next, place your ads on several of these sites. To maximize your response, make sure your ad is keyword dense (lots of keywords repeated throughout the text of the ad). If you do, not only will you benefit from the traffic that advertising site produces, but you?ll also benefit from the very high listing on Google and other search engines, which will boost your traffic by possibly hundred fold.
Another technique you can try is typing the words ?Free Advertising Help? into Google. It?s not as good as my first recommendation, but still better that joining other team members and advertising on the same pages being used by thousands of direct competitors.
On one of the next articles I?ll talk about is how to super charge your ad for search optimization?you?ll be amazed.

Networking & Business Advertising - Soft Sell or Hard Sell? by Naz Daud
Imagine being able to reach 1000s of business people for the fraction of the cost associated with general advertising. Well now you can use online networking platforms dedicated to businesses.
Many online platforms have dedicated areas where business people can advertise their services for free once they are a paying member. In Ecademy we have Marketplace which was a lot more powerful when the adverts were shown on the front page than it is now.
The best way to start on these sites is to participate in the discussion on the blogs page and slowly work your way towards advertising your wares in their marketplace. There is nothing worse than to join a site, plaster it with adverts for a few weeks and then leave never to be heard of again!
The worst thing you can do is to advertise your business in areas that are designated for blogging only. In Ecademy we have the Blogs area where it is OK to talk about business and non business related issues but is frowned upon by the members when they create what is known as a “blogvert” - in essence this is a shameless plug which makes almost no attempt at hiding the advert for their products.
Most of these sites promote “soft selling “as opposed to “hard selling” tactics.
In a nutshell what this means is that when you join do not blast your proposition to each and every member but rather try and entice them into asking about your business and what you can do for them. Do not be too pushy or manipulative. Realise that most people who join these platforms have also got businesses and that they will be trying to make contacts with potential buyers as well.
I believe in the theory of random connections. Basically what I mean by this is that one should not purely base their networking on the basis of potential business but rather focus on making decent connections and contacts. Strive to help other people and you never know who might in turn return the favour… if not now maybe in many years to come.
The art of online networking is to not to expect too much too quickly. The benefits will accrue over time and many years. Some people make the mistake of trying online networking for a few weeks and then giving up because they did not achieve any positive results. It takes time to build trust amongst other members especially the long serving ones who have seen many new people come and go.
I first tried my hand at online networking in June 2006 and quickly realised that normal rules of business do not apply. The best way to enjoy yourself on these types of platforms is to try and make friends. Business will come later… and rest assured it will come if you participate in the blogs and clubs.
Be enthusiastic and helpful, listen and join in the discussions but beware… do not let online networking take over from normal day to day business chores that still have to be carried out. It is far too easy to change networking to notworking!
Do you know any other platforms that allow businesses to advertise their wares? How has your experience been so far of business networking platforms? Have you got any tips for “newbies”?

There is a greater opportunity for Web Publishers to monetize traffic than ever before? www.ADXDirect.com network uses a comprehensive platform to cater to the needs of its partnering publishers.
Baltimore, MD (July 2nd, 2007) - It?s a good time to be a web publisher; at least it is when a company like ADXDirect.com is availing its traffic monetizing services. Today?s online environment is inducing record levels of advertising spending, largely because it?s a measurable medium where technological innovations are almost instantaneously implemented by both end-users and institutions. It?s no longer a question of how to monetize the traffic of a website, but rather how best to. With the many choices web publishers have, ADXDirect.com makes perhaps the most compelling option of any advertising network found online today.
ADXDirect.com is finding itself at the crest of a seismic shift in advertising that is translating into more compensation for the traffic of websites. Across every vertical, advertising spending is being pumped into the interactive arena. According to the Interactive Advertising Bureau, the first quarter advertising of 2007 brought in $4.9 billion ? this is up from $3.8 billion just a year ago. For ADXDirect.com, this means bigger roster of brand name advertisers, including Coca-Cola, Warner Brothers, and Chrysler. In turn, this translates to brighter prospects for the web publishers who partner with ADXDirect.com.
The benefits offered to publishers are in many folds. To start, ADXDirect.com is a renowned partner service. The Baltimore-based dedicated media-buying specialists of www.ADXDirect.com will generate a competitive revenue share for publishers. Additionally, the monetization of traffic is optimized with premium rates for banners and pops.

A satisfied marketing rep at BetterLeadsOnline.com commented, ?Your reps always answer my questions quickly and politely. I am very happy with the dependable service!?
To date, web publishers have been thrilled with the offerings by ADXDirect.com, which is only one year in the making. Another value added benefit of ADXDirect.com is the matching of domestic and international traffic with relevant advertising. Therefore international traffic, a potential revenue source that is all too often filtered and wasted, can be effectively and easily monetized with ADXDirect.com?s advertising platform. This feature alone could make partnering with ADXDirect.com a wise move for publishers.
A partnership with www.ADXDirect.com will help a publisher realize what separates this interactive advertising network from its peers. The reliable customer service and prompt payment scheduling; the brand name with big-money advertisers whose presence helps ADXDirect.com pay premium rates; and the contextual control offered to web publishers all create an extremely successful venture. ADXDirect.com values its in-network publishers and forces zero unwanted advertising upon its partners. Partnership implies co-operation and, for ADXDirect.com, partnership means a strong degree of contextual ad control for publishers.
